The wedding season has kicked off with one of the best I've ever been blessed with--Vanessa & Doug Jerolmack, June 2nd, 2007. Performances by the happy couple, mariachis, a photobooth, and many tears of joy. Vanessa is one of my nearest and dearest, and we go way back to the days of San Miguel dorm @ UC Santa Barbara. I was so happy to act as a witness and bridesmaid on their special day, and I got to run around with a clipboard organizing the reception to boot! Great practice for our big day. Ben showed off his waitering skills by passing out delicious slices of chocolate, lemon, and vanilla cake with aqua frosting. We wish them the best.Next up are our friends Kyle and Rivhka--can't wait to see what they do! Also, warm congrats to Kristi and Blair on their recent engagement. Watch out...wedding fever is catching.
